Got Blunt?...Got Weeeed?
Expert marijuana grower and chemical and plant mastermind, Silas and his friend Jamal smoke some magical marijuana that had the ashes of his genius best friend, Ivory, in it. The ghost of Ivory appeared to help Silas and Jamal get perfect scores on their SATs. The two got a full scholarship to Harvard and had one of the dean's watching their every move to try to get them kicked out. What happens when the Ivory plant gets stolen and Silas and Jamal need to get straight A's to keep their scholarships on their own?
How High was a great movie. If you haven't seen it because maybe you don't think it will be your kind of movie, don't worry about. Just sit down and watch it. Method Man and Redman are great actors with an even better sense of humor. The fact that these two raised havoc on the Harvard campus was great, but when they made a special batch of brownies to "bring the black out of the dean," that was just priceless. The punchlines are heavy, be prepared to have a good time watching it.
That's Gunna Leave a Mark
Tommy Boy is a coming of age tale about a Tommy Callahan Jr., the son of a major automotive parts dealer and owner of Callahan Auto. Tommy barely graduated college, after six years and loved the party life. He wasn't too bright, and didn't possess too much common sense. His father was getting remarried, but had a heart attack at his wedding celebration. It was in Tommy's hands now to save the company from failing. He teamed up with his Dad's right hand man and set off on the road to sell 1 million brake pads- the only way Callahan Auto would survive. If he didn't succeed, the con artist that married his father would sell her portion of the company to their biggest competitor.
Tommy Boy is extremely funny. Chris Farley was an amazing actor/comedian, and this was one of his best works. The storyline is complete and David Spade's negative attitude throughout the movie meshed well with Chris Farley's dim-witted humor. Fat Guy in a little coat is still one of my favorite video clips to watch to this day. My favorite quote from this movie actually came from David Spade, "I think I just barfed on an ant hill, they look pissed." This wacky movie will have you laughing out loud and possibly even rolling on the floor-literally.

Don't Mess With the People That Handle Your Food!
A County College student, Dean, works at Shenaniganz, a TGI Fridays type restaurant, with an interesting team of employees and a lack of care for the customers. Dean was offered the position of Assistant Manager by the Manager, whom nobody respects, at all. Dean has a choice to make, take the job of Assistant Manager and watch his life waste away in a dead end job, or to grow up and find his way. Throughout the movie, there is a trainee that gets no attention, Monty, Dean's best friend and roommate who never sees the serious side in anything, and of course THE GAME.
Waiting is a great movie if you have any experience as a waiter. Personally, I do. When you are a waiter you have to be a friendly person and many times people don't treat you well. You still need to stay calm and be professional. This movie is the exact opposite of everything I just said. Between The Game, where you need to get a fellow employee to look at your testicles, in reward of your actions, you get to kick them in the ass, and all the dirty humor, food being messed with, the laughs are frequent. Watch out, it's the BRAAAAAAAIIIIN.

You Know When You Touch a Boob, and it Feels Like a Bag of Sand?!?!
Although he has many hobbies and leads an active life, there is one thing that Andy has never done, have sex! At 40 years old, this was hard for him to deal with, so the guys he worked with decided to take him under their wings and teach him the ways. This didn’t work out too well for Andy, until he met a single mother. He fell for her instantly which only led to more difficulty because he has never done the deed!
Awkward and laugh out loud humor would be the best way to describe this movie. Steve Carrell was the perfect actor for the part of the 40 year old virgin. The cast overall had great chemistry and them making fun of each other, just messing around really make the movie. Andy is 40 years old, and still a virgin, some of the dialogue in the movie made me laugh so hard my ribs hurt! It is just a great movie overall.

Daaaasssss Boooooooooooooot!
Urged to go to Germany by their grandmother after their grandfather’s death, Jan and Todd Wolfhause didn’t know what to expect. They were told to carry on a family tradition. When they arrived, they realized that they were right smack in the middle of Oktoberfest. Their mission was to get in touch with a contact of their grandmother and set their grandfather’s ashes on the mantle next to their other family members that have departed. This contact brought the two brothers to Beerfest, an underground beer drinking competition in which they were ridiculed, realizing that USA didn’t have a team. After the embarrassment at Beerfest, the two brothers vowed to start a USA Beerfest team and to win.
Beerfest was a great movie. First, it’s whole story line is about playing drinking games and building up tolerance to drink with the best beer drinkers in the world; it can’t get any better than that. The laughs are pretty much non-stop. The storyline worked out well and this movie started a new trend, drinking out of a giant glass boot. The humor is outrageous at times, but subtle at other points. Overall, very enjoyable, oh yea, and there is a Willie Nelson cameo at the end!

Life is Good When You are Dazed and Confused!
The last day of school for a small town in Texas in 1976 is the setting for Dazed and Confused. Not only were the lifestyles different back then, but so was the schooling. Freshman get paddled brutally as a welcome to high school by tradition, and everyone is trying to get stoned, drunk, or laid.
To go along with a pretty stacked cast, this movie has a great deal of laughs from a great many different angles. Whether it’s the look on the face of a kid that is getting paddled, or the payback of a lifetime to a bully, Dazed and Confused is a great movie to watch if you have some time to kill and don’t particularly care about there being a significant purpose to the movie. I always like high school movies because that was a great time in my life and it helps me reminisce. Personally, I have gotten busted trying to have a party at my house when my parents planned to go on a vacation, so I can relate to this movie personally. I’m sure a good amount of you all can relate to that as well!

FOCCCKKKERRRRRR!
A male nurse, Greg Focker, wants to meet his fiancé’s parents before he proposes to her. He soon finds out that her strict father wants him to ask his permission first. Greg tries too hard to please his fiancé’s father and a comical series of events take place during the worst weekend of Greg’s life.
This is the nightmare of any boyfriend that has to meet his girlfriend’s parents! From the Focker jokes, to a cat that was trained to use the bathroom, this movie is action packed with laughs. Ben Stiller does a great job playing the softy that you feel bad for and Robert DeNiro plays a great bully. DeNiro’s wife in the movie does a good job playing the sweetheart mom.

"Lt. Dan, I got you some Ice Creaaaam, Lt. Daaannnn, ICE CREEEAAAAM!"
Forrest Gump is a young boy who was extremely slow, but was raised to be a good person. Throughout his childhood he struggled with his learning disabilities but took on a best friend by the name of Jenny. Forrest Gump’s mother taught Forrest the ways of the world until it was time for Forrest to choose his destiny. Forrest then joined the army and was sent to Vietnam where he met two friends, Lt. Dan and Bubba. After being released from the army due to a wound in the line of fire, and winning many medals, Forrest Gump was around for many significant events in history and accomplished a great many things in his life.
This movie is supposed to be a drama, but I thought it was absolutely hilarious. From start to finish Forrest Gump kept me captivated by the great story line, while also surprising me with humor. Tom Hanks was the perfect actor for this role and did a great job. One of the funniest parts of the movie takes place at the White House. Forrest gets to meet the president and drank thirteen Dr. Peppers. When it was his turn to meet the president, he asked to use the bathroom first! After using the bathroom, he wound up mooning the president to show him where he had gotten “shot in the but-tox” because he didn’t know better that the president was being sarcastic! That is just too funny to me. I seriously laughed for like 15 minutes. It’s a bit long, but it is definitely worthwhile to see.

I'm Slappin the Bass Mon
Peter Klaven is a man that has always had many girlfriends and girl-friends. It isn’t until he overhears his finance and her friends talking about their worry for his mental health in the future not having any guy friends that Peter decides to find some male friends. Peter went on a series of man-dates to try to find a new best friend and hit many bumps along the way to finding his new best friend, Sydney Fife. The two hit it off instantly and Sydney tries to guide Peter along the way of opening up. After spending a lot of time away from his finance and with Sydney Peter finds himself unsure of why he wants to get married.
This movie is the epitome of awkward comedy. If there is an awkward situation in this movie, guaranteed you will be laughing hysterically. Whether it’s Peter Klaven projectile-y vomiting on one of his fiancé’s friends husband after chugging a beer or Sydney telling Peter’s fiancé to “return the favor” in front of his whole family, this movie is chock full of good laughs. Some say it’s too much of a chick flick, but I really don’t see that at all in this movie. If anything, this is a movie that a bunch of guys can watch and relate to in many ways!

Smack Destiny in the Face!
Self proclaimed stuntman Rod Kimble has to raise $50,000 to save his dying stepfather. In order to do so decided to raise money by doing a record breaking jump- clearing fifteen buses on his dirt bike.
The opening scene of this movie is what got me hooked. When Rod tried to jump a trailer without the takeoff ramp reinforced, he not only epically failed the jump, but also had one of the craziest, funniest crashes I have ever seen. The crash had concussion written all over it, but his reaction was simply priceless. Danny McBride and Andy Samberg are hilarious actors who took their roles and truly ran with them. “I go to church every Sunday, are you going to bring the demons out of me?” was my favorite quote from the movie that was said by Danny McBride.

Stop Being a Dinosaur and Grow the **** Up!!!!
When two single parents fall in love at a business conference, they didn’t realize exactly what would happen when their sons, both forty years of age, had to be stepbrothers. Not only did they have to live under the same roof, but they had to share a bedroom! The parents realized that their two sons would be living off of their money for the rest of their lives, while also bickering and seriously fighting each other (with bicycles and the like). In this coming of age tale, the two go their separate ways until they realized that they had to work together at the Catalina Wine Mixer in which they both became successful in their own respective fields.
In the beginning, you have Will Ferrell, who has somewhat been type-casted for his style of humor, in what seems to be a typical role. Will Ferrell was soooo funny I couldn’t stop laughing. The person who really stole this movie, however, was John C. Reilly, who played the “stepbrother” of Will Ferrell in the movie. John C. Reilly was even funnier than Will Ferrell, so with great chemistry, good writing, and great humor, this added up to one of the funniest movies in the last few years!

Knocked Up -- This can happen to you, but it won't be as funny.
When an unemployed party guy meets a newly promoted E! Entertainment News reporter at a hot night club they hit it off and have a one night stand. Taking the most literal sense of the phrase “just do it already,” he had unprotected sex in a one night stand. Three months later he gets an e-mail from the girl and thinks that she wants another go-round. When they go out to dinner he soon realizes that he has a long road ahead of him. In this coming of age tail, Ben Stone, the party animal learns what it takes to truly become a mature adult, as well as a good father.
This movie to me was a little scary at first because if you don’t use protection, this can easily happen to you. The cast is relatively new, but is composed of a young team of up and coming comedians who are also best friends. The chemistry between this crew is amazing. If they weren’t such close friends the multiple “one-liners” wouldn’t be as funny affecting the movie overall. This movie was a major blockbuster hit in 2007 and still continues to make me laugh each and every time I see it because I always tend to notice something new that makes me laugh out loud.

Adam Sandler makes the list again, with some help from Kevin James
When a New York City firefighter lost his wife, he found out he wouldn’t be able to get full benefits to provide for his children without a life partner. In a bind and with nowhere to turn, he looked to his best friend, a fellow NYC firefighter to pretend to be his lover. Things got a bit out of hand and extreme measures had to be taken to prove to an insurance fraud agent that they weren’t lying, including marriage. How far would one person go to make sure his family was provided for?
This movie, another Happy Gilmore Production, was a different kind of comedy. Many movies can be funny but serve no real purpose. Chuck and Larry made a statement, not just as a movie, but in life. Many life lessons about bias and prejudice were confronted and the wrongs were made right. The way these issues were addressed is an amazing fate. Gay prejudice is a sensitive subject, especially in a movie scenario; but Chuck and Larry used quality humor to not only make a statement, but to make people laugh out loud. Kevin James and Adam Sandler were an amazing combo of comedians with great chemistry, pardon the pun. This movie is definitely on my “must see” list, if you haven’t done so already.

WIIIILLLLLDDDDEEEERRRRR!
Van Wilder is a guy who has been at his college for seven years. He spends most of his time throwing parties and "fund raisers". When his father decides that it's time for tough love, he doesn't pay his tuition. So Van becomes a professional party thrower. At the same time, Gwen who writes for the college paper, is tasked with doing a story on him, but Van is too busy partying to do that. So she writes it using info from people who talk about him and writes an unflattering piece, which doesn't make him happy. He then dares her to see if she can get the true story but is more interested in trying to score with her, which is not easy because she has a boyfriend, who is a snob, and who is not too happy with the amount time she is spending with him. So he tries to get rid of him
This is a movie you can watch over and over and over again. Whether you are in college, out of school, high school (inappropriate for kids younger than high school age) this movie is not just a comedy, it’s an inspiration. It’s amazing how much you can accomplish in college. College is a life changing experience and in this movie, you see why. Not too many of us are as fortunate as Van but I guarantee you that everyone wishes they had as much of a good time in college as him. A must add to your DVD collection if you don’t have it already. “Write that down.”

Hey Bud, Let's Party!
Follows a group of high school students growing up in southern California, based on the real-life adventures chronicled by Cameron Crowe. Stacy Hamilton and Mark Ratner are looking for a love interest, and are helped along by their older classmates, Linda Barrett and Mike Damone, respectively. The center of the film is held by Jeff Spicoli, a perpetually stoned surfer dude who faces off with the resolute Mr. Hand, who is convinced that everyone is on dope.
Classic Sean Penn as Jeff Spicoli made me love this movie. Besides his hilarious one liners, the movie is all about the 80’s high school scene. The biggest hangout was the mall, where if you were flipping burgers, you were the man. Mr. Hand is a crazy teacher, hardcore strict about discipline and knowledge. I have to assume everyone had a teacher like him in high school, because I know I have. Great movie and once again Sean Penn was just straight up funny. "I was thinking about that Mr. Hand. If I'm here, and you're here, than isn't it OUR time?!?!"

COLLEGE!!!
Faber College has one frat house so disreputable it will take anyone. It has a second one full of white, Anglo-Saxon, rich young men who are so sanctimonious no one can stand them except Dean Wormer. The dean enlists the help of the second frat to get the boys of Delta House off campus. This film gives high-jinks and fooling around a bad name. The dean's plan comes into play just before the homecoming parade to end all parades for all time.
The epitome of a classic comedy, Animal House defined what Fraternity life was like in different forms “back in the day.” Many of today’s stereotypes about Fraternities come from this movie. In fact, Harold Ramis, a brother of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, co-wrote this movie and involved actually stories from his chapter and personal experiences. If you have never seen this movie, which I truly hope everyone has, you absolutely need to, seriously. Only one word describes this movie, COLLEGE!

"Pain heals, chicks dig scars...glory lasts forever."
When the NFL football team, the Washington Sentinels, goes on strike, the team's owner, Edward O'Neill, calls former NFL coach Jimmy McGinty out of retirement to coach a rag-tag team of replacement players to finish the season's last four games in which McGinty turns to former Ohio State player Shane Falco to be the team's captain for the duration of the season and Falco is forced to shape up the misfit players whom include convenience store guard Clifford Franklin, gangster rapper brothers Andre and Jamal Jackson, former sumo wrestler Jumbo Fumkio, a Welsh "football" player called "The Leg", a deaf player, a convict on a work-release program, a tough SWAT leader, and many more while, at the same time, Falco strikes up a possible romance with the team's cheerleading captain Annabelle Farrell.
Keaaaauuuunnnuuuuu! A mix match of people that played some form of football at one point of their lives (replacement players), must come together to take on the NFL’s best teams to make the playoffs. Led by a former Ohio State QB who choked in the championship game, but had “miles and miles of heart,” this group of players were complete opposites and underdogs rise to the occasion with a ton of laughs and good times along the way. All I have to say is…”I will survive.” Oh, and Gene Hackman plays yet another leadership/coaching role, but funny this time. “That’s why girls don’t play the game!”
Grandma's Boy
When his roommate spends the rent money on Philipino hookers. Alex, a 35 year video game tester has to find a new place to live. After a "encounter" with his friends mom, Alex is forced to move in with his grandmother. Trying to save face with his younger co-workers, Alex says that he is living "with three hot babes" (meaning his grandmother and her two roommates).
Grandma’s Boy is another great movie by Happy Madison Productions. I don’t know about you, but if I were able to earn a good, carefree living as a video game beta tester, I’d be one happy camper. The use of obscure animals as pets and/or bodyguards, Kevin Nealon, and a cast full of comedic geniuses make put this movie over the top for laughs. The story line is great because it is not your ordinary comedy. If you haven’t seen this one yet, you should do so immediately. If you have seen this movie, then you should watch it again, because I said so!

Adam Sandler Makes the List
Happy Gilmore is a failed hockey player with no direction in life. His grandmother is evicted from her house for her failure to pay back taxes, and his girlfriend has left him. He makes it on to the pro golf tour with the hope of making some money to save his grandmother's house, but is challenged by the favorites on the tour (Shooter McGavin).
Happy Gilmore is a movie I grew up watching. Adam Sandler is one of my favorite actors because he makes movies that not only relate to the average person, but are packed with laughs. He and his crew (Happy Madison Productions) have produced several movies that make my top list. I focus on this movie because I have just recently watched it for the 60th time (guess-timate). Even though I have seen this movie so many times, I laughed as if it were my first time seeing it. You can’t help but to fall in love with Happy’s character and hope he succeeds. It is a classic underdog story.

One of the Funniest Movies in 2008
Peter is a composer and a likable sad sack who's devastated when his girlfriend of five years, Sarah Marshall, the star of a cheesy CSI-style crime show, dumps him. He weeps, he rails, he mopes. Finally, his step-brother Brian suggests Hawaii, so Peter heads for a resort on Oahu where, as he's checking in, he sees Sarah and her new beau, Aldous, a polymorphously perverse English rocker. The weeping and moping starts again, until Peter is rescued by Rachel, a thoughtful hotel clerk who invites him to a luau and to hang out. Although he constantly runs into Sarah and Aldous, Peter starts to come alive again. Will Sarah realize what she's lost, and what about Rachel?
This movie was just non-stop laughs from start to finish. Whether it’s the way Pete (main character) weeps- yes he weeps, not cries)- or the bickering between Pete and his step-brother, the movie is a crowd pleaser. Everyone has been through a break up. Many parts of this movie can touch everyone and anyone in a special way, while making you laugh. This movie only gets funnier the more times you watch it because you tend to notice more of the subtle humor. There are many jokes that you won’t get the first time.

All About American Pie
At a high-school party, four friends (Jim, Kevin, Finch, and Oz) find that losing their collective virginity isn't as easy as they had thought. But they still believe that they need to do so before college. To motivate themselves, they enter a pact to try to be the first to "score." And of course, the senior prom is their last best chance. As the fateful date draws near, the boys wonder who among them will get lucky. More importantly, do they really want to do it at all?
I was in 8th grade when this movie premiered in theaters. Instantly it was the talk of the town for many reasons. First, this movie was the most daring movie in a very long time, possibly since Porky’s! It was rated R and the movie theaters, which normally were very lenient on that matter, strictly enforced the “not allowed in if under 17 or accompanied by an adult” rule. I remember all these adults talking about it, but then saying “it’s not for you!” I didn’t end up seeing this movie until it was out on video (before the big DVD boom). This movie was the epitome of what high school males are like, at least in my opinion. You have four friends, all of different character or I guess you can say they would be in different cliques. Being best friends and trying to lose their virginities just led to uncontrollable laughs. This movie paved the way for most of the raunchy comedies that come out today.

Two of the Funniest Classics Ever!
Danny Noonan is a young caddy at Bushwood Country Club who has no idea about where his future will lead. His best chance at getting his life on track is to earn a caddy scholarship from Judge Elihu Smails, the owner of the Country Club. Al Czervik is a rude, and overly eccentric millionaire who has interests in purchasing Bushwood. Judge Smails shows a quick disliking towards Al and soon there is a conflict between the Judge and Al, the Judge and Danny, and even between the Judge and Ty Webb the charming golfer who is slowly helping Danny figure out his real goals. On the outside of this is Carl Spackler the Golf Course Grounds keeper, who's goal is eliminate a rampaging gopher who is chewing up holes throughout the golf course.
Even though I grew up with this movie, every time I watch it I laugh as if it were my first. This movie is definitely one of my top 3 favorite movies (not just comedies) of all time. You can never go wrong with the humor found in this movie.
Weekend at Bernie’s (1989)
Two young men are trying to make their way in a corporation. One on charm, the other on hard work. When they go to the president (Bernie) with a serious financial error on a printout, he pretends to be thrilled and invites them to his beach house for the weekend. He actually plans on having them killed. Bernie is also fooling around with the girlfriend of his mafia partner. When the partner has Bernie killed, the boys end up having to pretend Bernie is still alive as the frustrated hit man tries time and time again to complete the job.
I first saw this movie at a young age and thought it was absolutely hysterical. The humor is provided by best friends that happen to be complete opposites. Opposites definitely attract and provide a great deal of laughs for throughout the movie. The sequel is worth catching as well.

Early Influences
Set in 1954, a group of Florida high school students seek to lose their virginity which leads them to seek revenge on a sleazy nightclub owner and his redneck sheriff brother for harassing them.
I have see this movie growing up at an impressionable age a few times, and then again when I was older. The laughs didn’t change. Any person can relate to the humor and good times in this movie.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986)
A high school wise guy is determined to have a day off from school, despite of what the principal thinks of that, by any means necessary.
No matter how old you are, you can definitely reminisce about the good ‘ol days of high school. The thought of ditching school to have a good time with friends was forever going through your mind. This was every student’s dream in high school, but fulfilled beyond our wildest beliefs.
